Careful though, some of those low-flush toilets you need to flush twice they're so weak.  It should be pretty clear when you buy that it's a low-flusher but check to make sure it works well.

These toilets save about 1.5gallons per flush, unless you have a super old toilet in which case it could save 4.5gallons or more per flush.  The average toilet is flushed 5 times a day.   Average savings per toilet per year: 2800gallons of water!
