It seems like we all have a leaky faucet at some point or another.  Well, before you get the landlord or plummer to fix the problem permanently, a great solution is to place an old jar that you've saved from the spagetti sauce or pickles and leave it under the drip.  In a couple hours you will see that it's full.  Use it to water the plants, or heck, drink it!  Saves all that lost water.

Also, you will be amazed at how much water your leaky faucet drips, even if it looks like it's pretty minimal.  Even the slow ones leak about 3 gallons a day.  Over 365 that's over 1000 gallons of water!
